Hello, a chara,
Fáilte romhat ar ais. We've made it to the final week of our course. Over the past 6 weeks, we’ve revised the basics and covered a number of different themes. We can now describe ourselves, our daily lives and our hobbies. We’re all set for a day speaking as Gaeilge sa bhaile mór, and we can chat about the weather and share our opinions and feelings.
Maybe your aim was just to add a cúpla focal as Gaeilge into your daily life. Whatever your reason for joining this course, hopefully by now you feel confident to speak níos mó Gaeilge, and equipped to have a chat as Gaeilge based on a range of topics. Maybe you’re even running some errands as Gaeilge by now! Our final lesson is all about revision and assessing our learning. Let’s see how many of the following talking points you can tick off your list…

Éist leis na ceisteanna thíos agus freagair os ard iad.

Dúshlán na seachtaine
As this is the final week of our course, we're setting our biggest challenge yet! When you’ve covered all of the topics on our course, and you can answer all of the questions above, tá sé in am duit (it’s time) freastal ar ócáid Ghaeilge (to attend an Irish-language event).
Téigh go dtí (go to) ócáid Ghaeilge i do cheantar - Pop Up Gaeltacht nó ciorcal comhrá (conversation group), mar shampla. Take a look ar líne (online) and see what’s on near you. Your Irish does not need to be perfect to attend one of these events. Cleachtadh a dhéanann máistreacht (practice makes perfect)!
Tá an cúrsa seo críochnaithe agat, comhghairdeas leat (congratulations!).
You have completed this course and successfully reconnected with do theanga dhúchais. Keep finding ways to bring Gaeilge into your everyday life. Beatha teanga í a labhairt (the life of a language is to speak it) - coinnigh ort (keep at it)!
