An Ghaeilge - our mother tongue, symbol of our unique culture. We all absolutely love it...don't we?? Maybe you have a massive grá for Gaeilge, OR maybe you struggle with the cúpla focal. What would it be like to get to learn it all over again?!
Féach Siar ar Réaltaí na Gaeltachta # 3 anseo - Watch back.
I Réaltaí na Gaeltachta, téann cúigear aitheanta go dtí Gaeltacht Phort Láirge chun iad féin a thumadh go hiomlán sa Ghaeilge.
Ag tochailt amach a gcuid foclóirí agus ag pacáil a gcuid málaí, imíonn ár gcúigear daltaí leo go ceann de na coláistí samhraidh is cáiliúla in Éirinn – Coláiste na Rinne, An Rinn, áit a gcaithfidh siad seachtain faoi threoir na múinteoirí agus muintir na háite, le heispéireas iomlán na Gaeltachta a bheith ag an chúigear – ar fad as Gaeilge.

It's midway through the week in Coláiste na Rinne, and the group are getting to grips with the language. Múinteoir Pádraigín puts Owen, Hilary and Toshin through their paces, while Múinteoir Conor has some questions for Brendan. A trip to gorgeous Kilmurrin Cove rounds off the day, where the students brave the waves, and everyone shows off their skills on the hurling field with a competitive poc fada!

Ar dhuine de Réaltaí na Gaeltachta i mbliana tá an fuirseoir Owen Colgan - we promise we won't laugh, Owen - a rinne cur síos do RTÉ.ie/Gaeilge ar an eispéireas aige ann.
How would you rate your Gaeilge from 1-10?
"It's still very basic but it's something I can chip away at for the rest of my life. Just a few more years and I’ll have it!!"
Before An Rinn: "2 out of 10."
After An Rinn: "4 out of 10."
Not bad - that's a 100% increase.

What (did) you hope to achieve from Réaltaí?
"An awakening of my grá for the Irish language and a better understanding of how people from bygone generations thought and communicated."
Any advice for people who think they can't speak Irish?
"You’re probably right, but it’s important to not forget your culture. If I can learn a few new words then anyone can."
Were you surprised by how much you could remember?
"Oh, definitely. A lot of words starting coming back to me though even after the first day there and it felt great to be actively back learning Irish."

Erin, Owen, and Toshín embrace their Gaeilge through the mindful practice of yoga in Episode 2.
Together, the group explores the stunning scenery of the Copper Coast and Kilmurrin Cove during a fun-filled scavenger hunt. Constantly practicing the language - every day's a school day!
For everyone who has ever been to a Coláiste Samhraidh – and for anyone who has ever wondered what it would be like – Réaltaí na Gaeltachta is the feel-good dose of nostalgia and novelty that celebrates getting to know and love our glorious language, all over again.
Do gach duine a bhí riamh i gColáiste Samhraidh – agus do dhuine ar bith nach bhfuair an deis freastal agus a ba mhian leo – is é Réaltaí na Gaeltachta an blaiseadh atá ag teastáil de chumha agus de ghliondar an chúrsa Gaeltachta, a dhéanann ceiliúradh ar aithne a chur ar ár dteanga iontach in athuair.
