Have you ever dreamed of spending six months on a beautiful island on Ireland's iconic Wild Atlantic Way? Now’s your chance!
Ar oileán álainn miotasúil suite amach ó chósta Ciarraí Thiar, tá deis ann, ní hamháin post a fháil, ach stíl mhaireachtála éagsúil a bhaint amach as comh maith. Tá deis faoi leith ar fáil, seans cónaí, oibriú, agus do scíth a ligint ar An Blascaod Mór le linn earrach agus samhradh 2024.
Tá caomhnóirí an Bhlascaoid Mhóir, Billy O’Connor agus Alice Hayes, ag lorg beirt chun cónaí ar an oileán ar feadh sé mhí chun fáilte a chur roimh thurasóirí atá ag stopadh thar oíche ann, agus aire a thabhairt don gcaife agus don lóistín ann.
Agus i mbliana, beidh buntáiste ag iarratasóirí a bhfuil Gaeilge acu.
Le fairsing na farraige mórthimpeall ort, agus deiseanna neamhghnácha spéisiúla gach lá, ó mhíolta móra go coilíneachtaí róin agus turasóirí ag teacht ó gach cúinne don domhain, is post uathúil é seo.
Má tá speis agat sa deis iontach seo, tá tuilleadh eolas ar fail anseo
If you’ve ever dreamed of spending six months on one of Ireland’s most iconic islands, now’s your chance.
The caretakers of An Bhlascaod Mór / Great Blasket Island, Billy O’Connor and Alice Hayes, are once again looking for two people to move to the island and look after summer guests coming from all over the world to visit this unique world site. And this year, they particularly welcome applications from Irish speakers, or those interested in improving their Gaeilge.
As always, they are looking for a couple, or two friends, who can communicate the uniqueness of the island’s flora, fauna and heritage to the world on the island’s social media platforms, and RTÉ Cláracha Gaeilge hope to document your journey.
Whether you’re in Melbourne or Mayo, Newbridge or New York, Julianstown or Japan, Billy and Alice are particularly keen to hear from cainteoirí Gaeilge for the 2024 season.
