Paramedic and firefighter Peter Hunt features in a new Irish language documentary series 999 Faoi Oiliúint, RTE 1 tonight at 8pm, which follows the lives of those training for the front line.
Peter was inspired to take up a career in the fire service and paramedic after his father had a cardiac arrest and was rescued by paramedics when he was only 5 years of age.
Peter says everyday working for the Dublin Fire Service is different but 'very busy' and hugely rewarding.
