RTÉ Radio One's Drivetime presenter, Ambassador for last year's Seachtain na Gaeilge and all around Gael, Cormac Ó hEadhra has chosen his favourite words which just don't have the same ring to them as Béarla.
Words that just sound better in ☘️ Irish ☘️🤌🏼

Cormac particularly enjoys Bobarún 😂 #seachtainnagaeilge pic.twitter.com/IUU7jbjwYQ
Milis, Racht, Bobarún, Cunús agus Foirfe a roghnaigh Cormac ach tá na mílte, mílte focal eile ann a chuireann síos go beacht ar mhothúcháin agus ar dhaoine sa Ghaeilge nach bhfuil ann sa Bhéarla.
Cormac explains his favourite words as the following:
Milis- Sweet. And The Drivetime Presenter's favourite way to use it 'chomh milis le mil'- as sweet as honey.
Racht- A deep rage that comes from within, it's rather onomatopoeiac!
Bobarún- another good word for amadán, or a fool.
Cunús- a stupid, slovenly person. This is a very Conamara word!
Foirfe- perfect and isn't it a perfect-sounding adjective too.
