Reporter Evelyn O' Rourke spoke to people who found Gaeilge for themselves at the Pop-Up Gaeltacht on the Claire Byrne ar RTÉ Radio One for Seachtain na Gaeilge.
Evelyn said those in attendance at the Pop Up Gaeltacht were a mix of ages and backgrounds, many of whom didn't speak Irish fluently until they found their own connection with the language.
Some of the attendees said it was important for them to have access to a social environment in which to speak Irish and meet fellow Irish speakers.

Dúirt cuid mhaith den dream a bhí i láthair gur ceist mhisnigh í an drogall a bhíonn ar dhaoine an Ghaeilge a labhairt go poiblí. Bhí fáinne á chaitheamh ag duine amháin a labhair Evelyn ar mhaithe le go mbeadh eolas ag daoine eile ar a chumas sa teanga.
The Pop Up Gaeltacht is a monthly get together of those who speak Irish in pubs around Dublin (and other cities and towns) You can find more about the Pop Up Gaeltacht anseo
Chuaigh Evelyn ar cuairt chuig Gaelscoil na Fuinseoige freisin le labhairt le Príomhoide na Scoile faoi na hainmneacha éagsúla Gaelacha atá tagtha chun cinn le tamaill anuas.
