Beauty entrepreneur Marissa Carter and broadcaster Siún Ní Dhuinn spoke to Dáithí and Sinéad on The Today Show about Creidim Ionat, in which Siún will mentor and support Marissa in her use of the Irish language.

Siún spoke about how many people would like to return to the language or learn some Irish for the first time. This initiative by Foras na Gaeilge, supported by RTÉ could bring about real change by setting an achievable, realistic goal and providing the support needed along that journey.

One of main aims of the initiative is to inspire those who have been thinking about how they might use or learn more Irish to take the first step, whether that's attending a class or buying a book as Gaeilge.

Marissa said she attended an Irish language medium school and loved using Irish but since those days has gotten a little rusty and wants to 'fall in love with Irish again'. Marissa has set herself the goal of doing a makeover as entirely as Gaeilge on The Today Show in 4 weeks.
