Cian Ó Cíobháin will bring us a special edition of An Taobh Tuathail on Friday, 29th April to celebrate 23 years on the airwaves this weekend. The focus of this year's party will be on electroclash, a genre that rose to prominence in clubs (including 110th Street, a night Cian ran in Galway with his friend Cyril Briscoe) during the show’s early years on the airwaves. Electroclash brought the spirit of 80s new wave and synth-pop back into the techno world and made an impact globally through dance floor hits by the likes of Felix Da Housecat, Fischerspooner and Adult.
