Áine, Siún and Sinéad from the podcast and radio show, Beo ar Éigean chatted to Tommy Tiernan on Saturday night about the language that shapes their experiences.
The three women who hail from Gaoth Dobhair, West Kerry and Dundalk discussed the way in which the language has given them opportunities and brought them together as friends.
Tommy's not entirely happy and is looking to have a word with the gang who come up with new words as Gaeilge

Tá gach lá ina lá scoile ag Áine, Siún agus Sinéad from the #BeoArÉigean podcast@Tommedian @AineEibhlin@Siuners @SNiUallachain #TommyTiernanShow pic.twitter.com/r8gI5oN0Mm
The audience watching the show enjoyed the craic Tommy had with Áine, Siún and Sinéad and particularly wanted to know how to get over the confidence issue when it comes to conversing in the language, if you're not a native speaker.
Once again, the pure passion is genuinely inspiring tonight on the #TommyTiernanShow. I mentioned a few weeks ago that I would love to improve my Irish, but this conversation has sold me on the decision. https://t.co/35QkbMB8sA

Beo ar Éigean were great. With the obvious enthusiasm and positivity for the Irish language I really believe there is an opportunity to create a fully bilingual country. Would need a big national effort but would be psychologically and culturally enriching. #TommyTiernanShow
