As part of this year's celebration of Seachtain na Gaeilge, The Today Show are picking a word a day to discuss with their viewers.
Some of the words they have chosen are well known in Hiberno-English and some others have remained and evolved as Gaeilge. We particularly enjoyed Sinéad Kennedy talking about the word 'banshee' in English and its roots as Gaeilge, Bean Sí.
