Sólás na sléibhte: Ar An Sliabh anocht ar RTÉ ONE

Anocht, ag 7.30pm ar RTÉ One, leanann an tsraith Ar An Sliabh le scéal na ndaoine a bhfuil cónaí orthu i gceantair na sléibhe in Éirinn le linn na paindéime.

This six-part observational documentary series focuses on the lives of the people who live in four different mountain regions during one extra-ordinary year.

Episode five was filmed during the Summer of 2021.

In the Wicklow mountains we meet fiddle maker and musician Paul. Cérill and Pól enjoy their school holidays in Aughty.

In the Mournes John Ross harvests his honey, while in Slieve Gullion Seán bottles his cider, and the Glenmalure Lodge finally opens its doors to the first guests of the season.

The series was produced, directed and filmed by Sinéad Ingoldsby.

Sinéad Ingoldsby said "It was a fascinating time to film this series as the Covid pandemic raged in the community. We witnessed the fear, despair, joy and hope of our contributors as life locked down and gradually opened up again for them all."
