What have a radio DJ, a Dublin footballer, a singer and a right activist have in common?

Seachtain na Gaeilge le Energia runs from 1-17 March and the host of ambassadors this year feature RTÉ 2fm's, Tracy Clifford, Dublin footballer, Michael Darragh Macauley, language activist, Linda Ervine and singer, Sibéal Ní Chasaide.

At the launch of Seachtain na Gaeilge le Energia, Linda Ervine described her journey with the Irish language as a member of the Protestant community in East Belfast as a 'healing experience' across the political divide in the city.

Tracy Clifford, RTÉ 2fm DJ talked about the challenges she experienced when she returned to the language last year. The biggest challenged she faced, she said, was with her own confidence. Whether you're able to hold a conversation as Gaeilge, or just have toyed with the idea of learning the language, Seachtain na Gaeilge le Energia is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your journey.
