Was your New Year's Resolution to use more Gaeilge?

Have you been thinking about using your Irish but aren't sure how? Here's a few ideas to get the Gaeilge flowing.

  • Pop Up Gaeltacht started as a Dublin-based get together for those who want to use their Irish. The concept has now spread worldwide. To find out more about it, follow the event on facebook or twitter

  • If you need some more listening before you get speaking, there are a few great podcasts: Beo ar Éigean (from RTÉ), Motherfoclóir (In English but covering many aspects of the Irish language), Cluasraon and Club Leabhar's podcast to name but a few.

  • If you use social media, twitter is a right little haven for Irish speakers. Have a little peek at the hashtag #Gaeilge and get talking to us! If you're not there yet, check out BLOC, digital content created by TG4.
