Ahead of the highly-anticipated third season of The Crown dropping on Netflix on Sunday, Bláthnaid Treacy interviews some of the main cast members.
In an Irish TV exclusive for RTÉ's Today show, Bláthnaid chatted to Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman, who has taken over the role of Queen Elizabeth II from Claire Foy, and Tobias Menzies who plays Prince Philip.
She also speaks to Jason Watkins as Prime Minister Harold Wilson, and Josh O'Connor and Erin Doherty as Prince Charles and Princess Anne.
They discuss the responsibility of playing these real-life people, the technical aspect of their performances and how the queen is apparently "an absolute hoot" in private.
Bláthnaid is on the Today show talking about meeting the stars of The Crown on Thursday's show, airing on RTÉ One after 5pm.
Season three of The Crown arrives on Netflix this Sunday, November 17.
