James Mangold talks about his new film Le Mans '66

Director James Mangold talks to RTÉ Entertainment's John Byrne about his new film Le Mans '66, which stars Matt Damon and Christian Bale.

The movie's based on real-life events, as automotive designer Carroll Shelby (Damon) and race car driver Ken Miles (Bale) lead a Ford team who set about building a race car that can beat legendary Ferrari.

Ultimately, they produce the Ford GT40 for a showdown at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans.
