A group of nuns are hoping to impress Pope Francis with a very special performance by their rock band Siervas in Panama next week.
With millions of YouTube views and hits on Spotify and iTunes, the Peru-based group, which includes sisters from Chile, Japan, Ecuador, China and Costa Rica, might just get the Pontiff dancing at the upcoming World Youth Day celebrations.
"We want to reach as many people as possible, and if the Pope is included in that, we're more than satisfied," said Sister Ivonne, who pens much of the lyrics to the catchy Christian songs.
The 11-member band, which performs in Spanish, has previously played for crowds at Pope Francis' visits to Mexico and Peru.
The group will also play a show at a women's prison during the trip to Panama and visit a children's cancer hospital and schools.
