Celebrity Big Brother contestant Ryan Thomas has been told he has "absolutely nothing to worry about" in a moving letter he has received from his brother following the Roxanne Pallett controversy.
Pallett exited the show under controversial circumstances after she alleged that her former CBB housemate Thomas had punched her during her time in the house. She has since apologised for her actions, telling CBB host Emma Willis that she is "crippled with emotion and shame, that I would have put someone in that position".
Thomas was in tears in the CBB house when the contents of the letter from his younger brother Scott were read out by housemate Sally Morgan.

The letter read: "Honestly bro, I can't tell you how proud we all are of you. You really have taken yourself out of your comfort zone and trust me, it's been well worth it.
"You've shown the nation just how amazing you really are and carried yourself so well.
"I know you will be worried about how you are coming across but we want you to know you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Everyone has seen the real you."
The letter said Thomas' daughter Scarlett missed him and enjoyed watching him take part in challenges on the reality show.
Scott Thomas also said that Ryan's partner, former The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy Mecklenburgh, is "more than proud of him".
"She is so happy everyone gets to see the Ryan she knows and loves," the letter continued.
"Honestly bro, just keep being you and keep shining."

It has been announced that Pallett will not return to her job as presenter of a radio breakfast show. She joined Minster FM in York and North Yorkshire earlier this year, co-hosting the breakfast show.
