Cass is fuming when he finds out Paul has taken back the charity donation. Carol warns Paul his actions will make him a social pariah, but Paul remains defiant.
Business is slow at Vino's in the wake of his actions and Paul finds out a boycott has been organised. Paul accuses Bob of starting an online campaign against him.
Later, Paul faces the repercussions of his actions when he finds out Ruth is having trouble at school. Carol tells Cass and Hughie the truth about Paul's donation, leaving Paul furious at her.
Paul's anger intensifies when he discovers Ruth and Fiona have been messaging.
Elsewhere, Lee is up to his old tricks planning to land a new investor. Hayley refuses to lie to Lee's potential investor to clinch the deal, and Hayley warns Anto not to get involved with the dodgy dealings.
Hayley softens towards Lee when she learns how hard up he is. She is impressed by his app idea, and offers Lee some work in order to invest in the app. Later in McCoys, Lee pockets an envelope meant for Ger.
Lee collects more cash intended for Ger, and Hayley is shocked when Aidan O'Rourke accuses Lee of pocketing Ger's money.
Meanwhile, Sharon grimaces as she sees Doug and Erica together and she's furious when Erica's wedding dress gets delivered to the salon.
Sharon tells Erica she donated her wedding dress to the Helping Hand, leaving her distraught.
Later, it's all hands on deck with Doug accidentally ruins a bride's dress in the salon. Erica and Sharon come to the bride's rescue but remain at odds.
