This week on Fair City, Paul ignores Fiona's pleas to get back together.
Paul tells Fiona he's involved the Gardaí and then asks Carol's advice on dealing with the Criminal Assests Bureau. After heeding Carol's advice, Paul decides not to involve the police. Carol later tells Paul he's in denial and still has feelings for Fiona.
Fiona hopes for a reconciliation with Paul when she misreads something Carol tells her.
Elsewhere, Mondo threatens to tell Melanie about Alex's antics. On Melanie's return, Alex is oblivious to the spark between her and Mondo. Alex is shocked when a video of him drunk at Brewzers is posted online.
Later, Melanie asks Mondo out on a date. However, when Melanie finds out about the video, she takes out her anger on Mondo and cancels their dinner.
Mondo is unable to break the ice with Melanie, but she is impressed with Mondo when he saves Alex's job at Brewzers.
Meanwhile, Hayley shows Jane who's boss. Sharon hides her sadness at Hayley moving out. Hayley discovers how stressful running a pub is, and Sharon isn't fooled when Hayley pretends everything is fine.
Sharon later worries there is trouble between Hayley and Yates. Hayley looks to Ger for relationship advice but gets none. Sharon meets with Yates behind Hayley's back, and Hayley and Yates then reach an understanding.
This backfires when a furious Hayley realises Sharon and Yates were talking about her. Jane tells Hayley to be grateful for Sharon's concern. Hayley and Sharon later become closer.
