Louise is struggling to cope after recent events, which arouses Bex's concerns. Martin warns Ben that Louise needs to be kept under control, so Ben gives his sister a strong warning. When everything becomes too much for Louise, she makes a big confession – Keanu is dead and it's all her fault.
Elsewhere, Lisa fears that Louise is unwell after her outburst over Keanu. Ian and Sharon both overhear what's going on, although Sharon insists that it can't be true. As Louise's behaviour sends shockwaves through the Mitchell family, Phil is shocked to learn that Martin was the one Ben brought on board to kill Keanu.
Meanwhile, Linda hides her latest hangover from Mick and sneaks out to drink again. The Carters soon celebrate some good news and Linda brings out the champagne, but Shirley sees how uneasy Mick is and warns Linda that she'll be watching her every move.
Later in the week, things continue to go Phil's way when Dennis carries on ignoring Sharon, but he worries when he spots police outside the Taylor flat.The police quiz Karen about Keanu and she tries to play things down, but Phil is next to receive a visit from the detectives. The police visit leaves Mitch worried as he is illegally brewing gin. They leave without finding out what's going on, but when Mitch's efforts are jeopardised anyway, Bailey provides some inspiration.
Also, Linda struggles when Daniel offers her a drink at work and she plans to go out.
