Phil still believes that Sharon and Jack are seeing each other. Ben tries to tell him that he's misinformed but Phil is adamant he is right. Ben tries his best to make Phil think logically, before vowing to sort out Jack himself.
Thinking Phil has absorbed what he had to say, Ben enjoys some time with Callum, Lola, Lexi and Jay. However, Phil hasn't been talked round and broods with a gun.
Elsewhere, Mick and Mitch try to come up with an idea for an alternative nativity story. Bailey comes to their rescue, as she previously entered a Christmas story competition. Mick invites the school mums to the performance, but gets a surprising response. Mick is concerned when he sees Linda drinking at the alternative nativity. He feels the need to tell Sharon, who offers to watch out for her. She quickly encourages her friend to spend more time with Mick
Meanwhile, Ben is confronted with a very difficult decision. At the same time, Sharon and Louise discuss Phil's bad mood, believing it must be due to the baby still being in hospital. As Phil remains frustrated, he bumps into Sharon and her phone falls into the sink.
Later in the week, Kheerat agrees to let the Slaters stay put, but tells them that their rent will increase. Jean doesn't take the news well but Kat has a plan on what to do next.
Also, Martin agrees to do a dangerous job with Tubbs.
