Jake concerned by Cristiano's bruised appearance on Fair City

This week on Fair City, Mairead and Damien get Cristiano's apartment ready for his return from hospital and he is touched by their support.

Cristiano puts on a brave face as he comes home, and Damien helps him when he can't face the first night back in the apartment alone.

Later, Jake is angered by Cristiano's bruised appearance and lashes out at Damien and Mairead for not protecting him.

Cristiano has a panic attack at work, and Jake feels angry and helpless as Cristiano breaks down. Jake suggests Cristiano come back to Chile with him.

Cristiano tells Mairead that Phoebe should know the truth about her father.

Elsewhere, Fiona asks Hughie if he would sell the laundrette and later presses the idea of leasing the Pod and the laundrette. Paul tells Hughie that Fiona has no interest in leasing his businesses, and Hughie asks Barry about her working practices.

Hughie warns Barry that Fiona is exploiting him and Barry warns her that Hughie is on to them. Later, notice of a revenue audit leaves Fiona stunned. 

Barry catches Fiona as she's about to abscond from Carrigstown. She manages to talk him around, at a hefty price. Fiona entrusts her private accounts to Barry for the sake of the audit.

Fiona comes close to telling Paul about her money laundering, but can't face breaking his heart.

Meanwhile, Anto and Sharon feel guilty as Hayley moans about her job. After Hayley learns she hasn't been paid by Mondo, Anto and Sharon dip into their savings to help her out.
