This week on Fair City, Will secretly berates Cristiano for making a scene over the broken mug. Will takes control when he sees Damien and Cristiano talking. Will continues to subtly control Cristiano, who tells Mairead he exaggerated his panic attack.
Later, Damien stands up to Will but worries it has alienated him more from Mairead. An altercation between Damien and Will has a serious effect on Cristiano. Cristiano finally tells Damien the truth about Will's abusive behaviour.
Damien tells Will he knows the truth, and Will manipulates Mairead into standing by him. Will reports Cristiano to the guards for domestic abuse and gives Deegan false photographic evidence. Cristiano is shocked when he realised what Will has done.
Damien warns Will that Deegan won't believe his lies. Will tells Cristiano to go along with his lie to Deegan, and Cristiano is forced to face the music at the garda station.
Cristiano later drops a bombshell on Will and Mairead witnesses the fallout for herself. Mairead and Damien unite to support Cristiano and Will breaks down as he realises he has been found out.
Meanwhile, locals speculate over the new owner of McCoys. Hughie leaves the pub, and Renee worries he is at a loss without it. She is concerned about what he will get up to with so much free time on his hands. Hughie agrees to go to dinner with Renee, but doesn't show up. Later, Bob and Renee offer Hughie a room in their home.
Elsewhere, Erica notices the chemistry between Dean and Dearbhla and tries to play Cupid and Sharon and Anto worry that Ger will tell Hayley their secret.
