On Home and Away this week, Jett returns – but not for long.
Marilyn and John are over the moon to welcome Jett back to Summer Bay and are proud of him when he tells them that he has graduated from Duntroon Officer School as a Lieutenant.
They throw a BBQ to welcome him back and Jett is in good form telling them stories about his army training, but when Alf makes a comment about him being deployed soon, Marilyn is startled and puts a stop to all of the army talk.
John starts to wonder why Jett turned up without saying anything, and asks him what's going on, with Jett telling him that he is being sent to Afghanistan in 48 hours...
Marilyn is horrified to hear the news and tries to convince him not to go, but this is what he has trained for and he tries to reassure her that it will all be ok.
Meanwhile, Willow is worried about Dean and when he misses work again she worries that he's not looking after himself, and that he should be honest about needing more time off to recover instead of risking being fired.
Later, Willow spots him meeting a shady figure but he quickly covers his tracks.
Elsewhere, Ziggy tells Brody that she thinks they should buy a house together and start planning their future, unaware that he has his mind on Simone...
Also this week, Maggie struggles to get a contract for Simone and to provide enough support to Bella and Raffy.
