Jude’s Alzheimer’s has her believing that Lee is still alive. Bobbi Lee thinks it best to let Jude believe that this is the case, but Berni disagrees. Bobbi Lee thinks Berni needs to realise that Jude is not going to get any better, and it’s nursing home care she will need. Berni refuses to listen, leaving Bobbi Lee with little choice but to take matters into her own hands.
With Michelle’s help, Gráinne and David think there may be a chance of building their house on Cóilí Jackie’s land. Michelle tries to show Cóilí Jackie the new house drawings, but Cóilí Jackie is not interested. Will Gráinne and David ever see their money again? Micheál is told an aunt in the states is dying. Laoise thinks Micheál should fly out and say his goodbyes, especially as the poor woman has no family out there. Micheál is reluctant to leave Laoise and Realtín. Will Micheál go? David, realizing they may never get their money back from Cóilí Jackie, takes matters into his own hands. He threatens to cut down Cóilí Jackie’s tree unless he gives them their money back. Will Cóilí Jackie agree, and who is this B.N.G carved into the tree? Laoise’s first day teaching her class does not go as planned. Maeve is very eager to learn, but Sam would rather act like the class clown. Sam, not liking being told what to do, and fearful of what Laoise may tell Pádraig, tells a huge lie. Will Sam be believed?
