On Neighbours this week, there's devastation and heartbreak for Sonya and Toadie.
As Toadie, Sonya, Jade and the kids pack up to go on a family trip to the beach, Shane agrees with Sonya that it's wise to keep things about Andrea from Toadie until they get back, as it could all be lies.
Before they go, Sonya and Toadie meet with her doctor and even though she's feeling worse, they tell themselves it must just be side effects of the treatment and she rallies to put on a brave face. When Toadie leaves the room however, Sonya speaks with her doctor alone, and decides to keep some news from Toadie...
Later, Sonya reveals that the chemo hasn't been working and that she doesn't have long to live, leaving Toadie absolutely heartbroken.
At the beach, Callum takes the kids to the water to play, but, devastated to miss the chance to see them happy, Sonya doesn't have the energy to walk towards them, and she spends her last moments in her husband's arms.
News of Sonya's sudden passing leaves Erinsborough distraught.
Also this week, Finn wakes up and Karl fears he will once again become a danger to his family.
