Bea’s life is in danger as the garage fire builds while she sleeps in the work van, unaware. Thankfully Ned comes to visit her at work and witnesses the smoke – bursting in to extinguish the flames before they take hold. It’s a close call, and though Bea is relieved she came away unscathed, she knows this is a sign of greater trouble for the garage.
Elsewhere, an untethered Leo is indulging in the party lifestyle, lapping up all the fun the Backpackers has to offer. So much so that Leo barely even notices he’s being sued by Vera Punt for accidentally knocking her over with the giant heart on Valentines Day. David is concerned by Leo’s lack of interest in such a serious matter and turns to Paul for help.
Meanwhile, Terese and Paul are confronted by Leo’s very public meltdown. David is also witness to it and does his best to support his heartbroken brother. Guilt-stricken Terese is desperate to help Leo through his pain, but Paul thinks it’s best she keeps her distance. Instead, she asks Piper to be the one to check in on Leo and make sure he’s coping okay.
Later in the week, Piper is thrown by Leo’s attempt to kiss her, while Gary agrees to Amy’s ultimatum.
