A nervous Berni is taken aback by her mother’s reaction to Briain being her boyfriend. Berni finds her mother’s behaviour odd, but later thinks it may just be Jude mellowing in her twilight years.
Cóilí Jackie accepts Frances’s job offer in the Ionad Pobail much to Caitríona’s horror. Frances is finding Cóilí Jackie to be more of a hindrance than a help, but soon realises where his strengths lie, thanks to Malachaí.
Gráinne believes Katy may have a spirit in her house and offers to rid her of it. Katy and Dee think this is nonsense, but go along with Gráinne’s notions. The cleanse however, leaves Katy uncomfortable, when talk turns to hidden secrets, and spirits attaching themselves to children. Will Gráinne stumble on something Katy would rather avoid?
Katy’s stress levels reach a new level when she is told Jason has sold his shares in Gaudi’s. Katy knows she needs to up her game, and show her new business partner that she is more than capable of running the restaurant.
Berni is a little perplexed by Jude’s sudden departure, but is happy that she has accepted Briain as her boyfriend. Berni, wanting Briain to be part of her life more, makes a decision.
Caitríona is fit to be tied when Cóilí Jackie interrupts her live interview with Malachaí on the radio. Malachaí attempts to salvage the situation but in doing so causes Cóilí Jackie to lose the rag. Malachaí does however manage to persuade Frances to join him for a drink. Bobbi Lee is intrigued at how cosy they seem in each other’s company.
