Elsewhere, Ian’s stint as choirmaster in the wake of Morag’s departure is not quite all it was cracked up to be. The choir is soon in complete chaos and Ian realises it’s too hot for him to handle! Tracking down Jean, Ian begs her to take over, insisting that she’s the right person to lead the choir to success. Will she accept his apology?
Meanwhile, Mick Carter is back in the Square and the Carter family are over-the-moon to have him home with them once more. But Mick’s prison stint and Stuart’s dangerous and twisted game has left Mick scarred. Now he’s back in The Vic, instead of concentrating on his marriage to Linda, Mick instead has darker things on his mind.
Later in the week, Jean gets some shock news about the choir. They’re not in the choir competition after all as former choirmaster Morag ended up missing the deadline to enter them! Tasked with giving the bad news to the choir, Jean is cheered when they all agree that they’ll have a carol concert anyway, competition or no competition. It just remains for a soloist to be chosen. Will Karen have her way over Kim?
