This week in Carrigstown Jackie encourages Doug to mend bridges with Erica, while Carol suggests Hayley is after Robbie for his money.
Jackie encourages Doug to mend bridges with Erica, but Erica keeps her distance. Anto realises he gave Doug the worst advice ever, when Erica reveals she was stood up on her wedding day. Doug, learning what Erica’s been through, plans to make it right. Jackie worries she’s to blame for Doug’s lack of self confidence. Doug apologises to Erica and suggests they start again as friends, but annoys her by suggesting he can set her up with Darragh.
Elsewhere, Carol suggests Hayley is after Robbie for his money. Hayley and Mondo row over her handling of the business as Comet hemorrhages cash. Carol feels her suspicions are confirmed when she learns Comet is in financial difficulty.
Meanwhile, Hughie questions Bob about how redecorating the diner will benefit the community. Dolores inspires Hughie to solve his romantic dilemma. Bob sabotages Hughie’s surprise that he and Jackie work together when Hughie oversteps.
Later in the week, Robbie’s impressed when Hayley rebuffs his financial offer to help with Comet. Nora encourages Robbie to find another way to help Hayley.
