This week on Fair City, Wayne gives Doug hope that Erica fancies him when she asks Doug out for lunch.
However, Erica isn’t interested in Doug romantically and instead asks Darragh out for a date. Poor Doug is heartbroken.

Elsewhere, Carol grills Aoife about why she’s really back. Aoife asks to meet Kerri-Ann alone so she can have her say and Kerri-Ann agrees.
Aoife is disappointed when Decco blocks Kerri-Ann’s attempt to talk to her, but Decco eventually concedes.
Oisin decides that he’s going to stay in Carrigstown instead of going away with Harmony. He tells himself he’s staying for Ruth’s sake, but he eventually acknowledges it’s because of him connection with Charlotte.

Mondo comforts Juliet as she is shocked by the consequences of her lie. Cristiano encourages Mondo to set an example for Juliet and visit Kerri-Ann. Mondo is hopeful for Juliet as she offers to babysit for Kerri-Ann. Juliet feigns nonchalance when Alex questions if she’s worried about getting a caution.
Meanwhile, Yates is worried when he receives a notice that the verdict is in from his disciplinary hearing. The sanction is minor, but Yates’ relief is short-lived when Cathal arrives and reveals Yates was blackmailing him. Deegan offers his support as Yates is suspended.
Yates threatens Cathal that it’s not over. Yates is unsure if he can trust Carol not to use the information she has on Cathal.

Later, Carol vows revenge when she realises Cathal stole her bag and hacked her accounts. Yates catches Carol about to spill the beans on Cathal to Aidan. Carol’s forced to hold her tongue.
Cathal warns Yates to keep Carol in line, or they’ll both suffer the consequences. Carol and Yates fall out over their differences in opinion on how to handle Cathal.
