Ted is later diagnosed with a medial condition but keeps it to himself. He starts planning his trip abroad and gives Bernadette a wad of cash to make sure she'll be ok. When Patrick finds out what Ted has been up to he is suspicious and confronts Ted about his plans. Will Ted tell him the truth?
