On Neighbours this week, Xanthe is put through the ringer when she is involved in a car crash.
Starting off a dramatic week, Xanthe reveals that Cassius is Piper's mysterious book underliner, but it's later on Monday that things go south.
As she sets off on the scavenger hunt with Chloe, Xanthe suddenly sees Elly's car coming speeding towards them, and there's no time to move from its path.
Xanthe is rushed to hospital following the accident and needs surgery straight away. Before news of the hit and run spreads around Erinsborough, Elly reports her car stolen. Following her surgery, Xanthe is put into a medically induced coma to help with her healing.
Meanwhile, Karl and Susan find out the truth about Finn when they find him shaken in her car. Bea is shocked to find out that the man she thought was Patrick is actually Finn.
Also, after being bailed out by Karl, Elly decides to leave town, which leaves Gary fuming.
Later in the week as she emerges from her coma, Xanthe is in a confused state, but remembers the identity of the driver of the car, while Mark and Karl alert the police.
