Elly is working hard to build a solid bond with her sister, but a still-resentful Bea continues to hold her at arm's length. Mark assures Bea that Elly has had her fair share of struggles too – including with a nasty guy called Finn.
An intrigued Bea shares this with 'Patrick', who freaks out and manufactures an emergency at home to stop Bea from asking Elly more about this 'Finn' guy. But when Elly shows concern for her sister, Mark gives Elly the address for the apartment, encouraging her to pay Bea a visit. Elly arrives at the unlocked apartment, where Finn is hiding out. Will he be found?
Elsewhere, Steph is in the final stages of preparing her move to Sydney, and though she loves having Charlie around, she learns that Philippa is still yet to tell Max about the affair. While Steph is patient, Toadie is frustrated on her behalf. When Susan cautions Toadie against doing anything drastic, he decides to draft a letter to Max to show Steph how forcing a new custody arrangement might be the best thing.
Meanwhile, Chloe encourages Mishti to have a fling with a cute guy called Dilhan – and Mishti complies. However, when Xanthe comes over to feed Clancy late at night, she discovers Dilhan going through Mishti's things, looking very suspicious.
Also, Finn is genuinely upset that Bea got blamed and urges her to stick up for herself. Amy encourages Elly to stick up for Bea as well. Both women come together and persuade Mark that maybe he was at fault, or it was a computer glitch.
