It's the day of the boxing match and the local residents gather for the event. Tyrone has had to withdraw as Fiz has managed to get an appointment for Hope. Josh dismisses David's request to take Tyrone's place because of his epilepsy.
As the fights commence, all is going well until David forces his way into the ring and insists on fighting Gary in Tyrone's place. As weeks of tension come to the surface and before anyone can stop him, David loses control. The crowd watch in horror as David repeatedly punches Gary, knocking him out cold.
Elsewhere, Fiz despairs as Hope's bad behaviour continues and she shows no remorse over stealing a doll from the surgery.
Meanwhile, Toyah is pleased to hear that Eva has signed the lease on a cottage in Lymm. Later, when the midwife at the antenatal class starts talking about the importance of the father's involvement, it's clear that Eva is starting to struggle.
Later in the week, Craig is thrilled to discover his police application has been successful and he has an assessment day. He is also trying to use the tapping techniques he was taught to control his OCD.
Also, Zeedan is enjoying looking after Rana, who is suffering from the flu. When Kate calls 'round, he manages to get rid of her without Rana knowing.
