Coming up this week on EastEnders, Ted tells Bernadette he hasn't been able to make a start on organising Joyce's funeral and she offers to help.

He also confesses that he hasn't been able to bring himself to contact their children to break the news and she encourages him to tell them.

Sharon is keen to get things back on track with Phil and arranges a family meal.

Meanwhile, Mel warns Hunter to stay away from Phil but he defies her to join Louise at the Mitchell family lunch. Surprisingly, Phil and Hunter get along well, but Mel is not happy and storms over to drag Hunter home. Sharon doesn't take kindly to Mel's unwelcome interruption and they start fighting.

Later, Hunter heads off to meet Phil at the garage and pretends he wants Phil to show him the ropes. What is Hunter really up to? Mel turns up and tries to get Hunter to leave but she doesn't succeed.

Kat and the Slaters are struggling for cash and are trying to figure out a way to resolve the situation. Soon, Kat has a brainwave and suggests the family start a cleaning business.

However, Kat's grand plans to make a fresh start in the Square are soon quashed as the Slaters are still in the bad books with their neighbours.

She tries to try and improve the situation for her family and reached out to Ian, who is less than interested to help them out. Kat starts to feel hopeless about the situation but won't give up until she gets what she wants.
