Coming up this week on Coronation Street, Craig breaks the news to the Platts that Neil is appealing against his conviction.
Bethany says she won't go back to court to give evidence and David tries to comfort her. However, he becomes overcome with pain and bolts out of the room.
The police come to visit Bethany and are surprised that Craig has told her about Neil's appeal and suggest he takes a break from his special constable work.
Craig becomes very anxious and starts doing his OCD rituals when Bethany calls around. He gets very upset and blames her for what has happened. How will she react?
Later, Shona tries to talk to David about the fact that they haven't been intimate for some time. She asks him to join her in bed and he says he will follow her up, but once she heads upstairs he grabs his coat and heads outside.
Shona finds him asleep on the couch the next morning and tells him to stop messing her around. David quizzes Maria about HIV tests before going to an STI clinic. When they start asking him about his sexual history he bottles it and leaves in a rush.
Later, Shona demands answers from David but he can't tell her the truth and asks her to leave. She is absolutely devastated and goes to stay with Roy and Carla.
David has a run in with Josh in the Rovers backyard, will anyone come to his rescue?
