Coming up this week on Fair City, Laura tells Damien that Caoimhe may drop the charges, leaving Damien with mixed emotions.
Pete unknowingly humiliates Damien with his offer to act as a reference, while Mark tries to encourage Damien to go to Germany.
Damien decides to get a bank loan for the trip, which Dolores agrees to co-sign for, leaving Laura furious.

Meanwhile, Hayley is thrown to hear Damien and Anto know each other. She tries to keep her distance from Anto and is frustrated when he uses her flat for storage.
Elsewhere, Jim is relieved to see Miriam becoming more relaxed and she reveals to him that she's cut down on her medication. However, Jim is thrown when Miriam becomes increasingly anxious after a damning newspaper article is released...He tries to convince her that she has forgotten she spoke to a journalist and is later sickened to hear that McSweeney sold Miriam's story.
Later, Jim tries to convince Miriam to leave Carrigstown, leaving her very upset. Things don't get any better for Miriam, as Oakley plans to bring her down.
And Aoife is surprised to see Karen and Sean loved up again. Sean isn't sure whether or not he wants a girlfriend and turns down Karen's idea to go travelling, leaving Karen crushed.
