It's Freshers' Week and Harry, Zack and Cleo are enjoying student life already. Holly is charmed when she first meets Nick Savage and introduces him to the rest of the teens. At the same time, Freddie and Ellie are pining for each other, but Ellie decides a night out at The Loft's 'traffic light party' with Lisa will help her get over him. However, Freddie turns up to help behind the bar, leaving Ellie floored.
Ellie later confides in Lisa that she can't remember anything after The Loft. The girls end up sitting with Nick and Holly at The Bean but Ellie rushes off, straight into Tegan who passes a judgemental comment about her. A distraught Ellie then asks Freddie to take her back.
Later in the week, Leela and Courtney persuade Jesse to give Tegan a chance. He goes to find Tegan at the McQueen house, but bumps into Celine and the star-crossed lovers kiss - seen by Diego.
