Ian discovers that CostMart want to sign the deal for Beale's today. After an encounter with Peggy, who gives him a reality check, he realises that Peggy isn't well. Talking to Phil, Ian learns the terrible news.

Bobby overhears Jane talking to Sharon and learns some disturbing news. Bobby subsequently lays into Jane's car with a hockey stick. News of Peggy's death quickly spreads around the Square, leaving the residents stunned. When Sharon steps up to support the Mitchell family, she realises how much Phil is struggling.
