Darkness hangs over Red Rock garda station following the death of one of the inmates who was being held in the cell. McKay’s worst nightmare has become a reality and the Garda station is now under the microscope. As the station faces some serious scrutiny, Sergeant Brian McGonigle, Adrjian and Sean are all questioned over the fatal events, and it appears there’s some uncertainty as to whether the arrest of the man was justified.
When the Garda Ombudsman arrives, the station plunges deeper into trouble and questioning. Can the Gardaí hold it together or will they crack under the pressure?
Claire wakes up in hospital to a note from husband James, who had to rush off due to a developing crisis at the station. Claire’s hard exterior falls as she heads home alone, without James.
And long suffering Sharon is still struggling at work, and is threatened once more by Brian. It seems her refusal to request a transfer will have serious consequences.
