Darcy and Harley’s disappearance continues to occupy Summer Bay, as Alf organises a search party and the community bands together in support of Heath and Bianca. When Heath and Brax return from the search without Harley and Darcy, tensions run high. Angry at Bianca for not supervising the children properly, Heath blows up at her, causing Brax to step in to diffuse the situation.
Brax and Heath continue their fruitless search for Darcy and Harley. Brax grills Heath on where Darcy might run off to and mentions calling Connie. Heath doesn’t want to call Connie and risk losing Darcy but time is running out. While Heath searches, Bianca is worried sick at home, and is kicking herself for ignoring the signs about Darcy.
Meanwhile, Evie is giving Oscar the cold shoulder for driving Zac home despite not holding a driver’s license. Oscar is surprised to get away with it: Zac was too drunk to remember anything about the afternoon before. When the twins touch base with Hannah, she is exhausted and needs a coffee: she explains that she was up tending to Tamara after she was involved in a hit-and-run.
Elsewhere, it’s Jett’s fifteenth birthday and John has promised him the best birthday ever. John’s arranged a beautiful breakfast, but when Jett gets a birthday text from Marilyn, John bristles. He mentions that Marilyn has a new beau called ‘Brian’ who is even sending her flowers. Jett gets a surprise when John reveals his birthday present is a rundown old boat called ‘Diana’ that’s not even seaworthy.
Later in the week, Phoebe teases Kyle for bonding with Josh: she’s glad he reached out for him and made a friend. Josh, however, is feeling pressure from Andy. He tells Maddy that he is considering moving back to Mangrove River to appease him.
