While the Braxtons are causing mayhem in London, Chris is the centre of a totally different concern back home in Summer Bay.
Chris decides to try out a new risotto recipe in the Diner but much to his dismay, he ends up poisoning Leah and Alf. Leah collapses not long after tasting Chris' creation and when Nate finds her he is able to rush her to the hospital but she is left fighting for her life. As her condition worsens it becomes apparent that her liver is failing and she may need a transplant...
Meanwhile, Alf too is feeling under the weather and Chris feels so guilty when he sees Mr Stewart being brought into hospital too. Marilyn's fussing is driving Alf mad but luckily he doesn't seem to be as affected as Leah, though he is steadily getting worse so only time will tell...
With Leah and Alf needing to be monitored constantly, Nate has a lot on his plate but with Ricky homeward bound by the end of the week, he is hopeful that they can sort things out.
In London things are not going well for Brax after an accident that leaves him with a head injury and when he has a seizure there is cause for concern. Casey and Heath do their best to convince Ricky to visit him in the hospital but will she give him the time of day?
Elsewhere Zac is struggling to fill in for Bianca in Summer Bay High and turns to alcohol to ease his stress and Kyle realises that he must do his best to win Pheobe back.
