Casey's chances of a full recovery are dwindling
Casey's chances of a full recovery are dwindling

Things never run smoothly for the Braxtons: it’s now a few days since Casey’s accident, but the feeling hasn’t returned to his legs yet.

Brax is trying to stay positive but under the stress of the situation he is snapping at everyone around him, including Ricky. As Dr Bradley examines Casey it is clear that his chance of a full recovery is dwindling.

While Brax is anxious and demanding information from Dr Bradley, Dex explains to a very optimistic Casey that he should be prepared for every outcome. Casey is adamant that he will walk again.

Tamara and Kyle drop by to visit him but Casey is embarrassed and angry and tells them all to leave. When Tamara returns alone and stays the night at his bedside, Kyle wonders if her feelings for Casey are coming back.

Heath and Bianca arrive home early from their honeymoon when Ricky tells them about Casey’s accident. Casey admits to Heath that he is afraid of never walking again, despite trying to remain positive.

Brax is on a rampage to find out who caused the accident and questions Maddy on who the guys were. She isn’t sure and when he tries to push her for an answer Roo and Alf step in.

Chris has moved into Irene’s house and she sets some ground rules and he insists that he won’t be any trouble. But it doesn’t take long before he is breaking all of the rules and when Irene arrives home and angrily storms into his room she catches him and Indi in bed together.

Irene lays down the law so the pair must find somewhere else to spend some quality time together.

Zac is worried by Hannah’s sudden arrival in the Bay and doesn’t know what to believe. He is sceptical as it doesn’t sound like Ethan to get involved in a brainwashing group. Leah does some research online and everything seems above board but Hannah’s claims are niggling at them so Zac decides to drop by the Sanctuary Lodge and get to the bottom of things.

Sally has managed to raise all of the money she needs for Pippa’s treatment and now they must wait to hear back from the clinic in America to know if there’s a place on the trial for Pippa. They are in luck and a space is free for her. So with everything falling into place Sally is forced to admit that she is scared that the treatment won’t work.

Alf tells her that she can call him any time and they will always support her.

Roo tries to organise a surprise farewell party for the pair so it’s all systems go. Alf is thrown when Pippa asks him to witness her last will and testament, just in case the worst should happen. He tries to reassure her but their departure is hitting him hard. He tells Sally that he’ll be fishing when they go to the airport as he doesn’t think he’ll be able to stay strong in front of Pippa. Sally is disappointed but accepts his wishes.
