Erinsborough is set to get more than one departure, but will Summer and Bradley leave together or separately? Elsewhere, Priya’s affair is taking its toll on her emotions as she discloses to Susan what’s been going on, while Andrew is forced to face up to his battle with epilepsy.
Summer is thrown when Bradley accepts a new job and plans a move. Misreading him, she assumes that means she is coming and plans her Erinsborough departure. Susan is thrilled Bradley is leaving Summer’s life, but is shocked when Summer resigns. She tries to make her come around, without having to tell her the ugly truth but Summer is adamant and they part on rocky terms. Summer burns her bridges and awaits her ticket out of town.
However, Summer is humiliated when Bradley explains he is going alone and she has to return to Susan and grovel for her job. Susan surprisingly accepts her with open arms, but the whole ordeal teaches Summer an important lesson. She re-resigns, announcing she will go overseas alone to get the life experience she needs to be the best journalist she can be.
Elsewhere, after one too many close calls, Priya uses Susan as an alibi yet again, but Susan is growing tired of being her cover and demands her honesty. She spins her another story, but all this sneaking around is taking a toll on Priya. She resolves to work on her relationship with Ajay, having told Susan the truth. She soon realises that though it may make Ajay happy, it doesn’t for her, and she soon ends up back in Paul’s comforting arms.
Meanwhile, after Tash and Andrew work together at the Melbourne Cup, Andrew falls into an epileptic fit, terrifying Tash. She urges him to get treatment but he disregards her worries for fear his dad will find out. He resolves to get a check-up, but when Paul brings them all out to celebrate, his medical plans go out the window. As Tash grows increasingly worried, Andrew suffers a fit in front of his dad. When he comes to, Paul urges him to admit what is going on and to seek help.
