Carrigstown prepares to celebrate the wedding of Charlie and Esther. Will the big day go off without a hitch?
As the week kicks off Charlie and Esther fine-tune their wedding arrangements. Esther thinks that the surprise Charlie’s working on is having her son, David arrive but she is less than gracious when the surprise turns out to be her sister, Margy.
The hostilities between the sisters begin immediately and Charlie realises his error, but alas, too late. Cass takes Margy off until Esther’s shock and disgruntlement subsides but Margy’s comments regarding David further strain relations between the pair.
As the big day approaches and with Esther getting cold feet will the day go off without a hitch?
Also this week Esther advises Carol to stand up for herself with Louie and not let Rachel and Charlotte get away with the mess they have made. Carol expects Louie to show some remorse for the way he’s been treating her but Louie just digs his heels in, telling her she’s still responsible for leaving Jack in the care of teenagers, against his wishes. Carol is incandescent with rage.
Det. Deegan informs Niamh and Paul that Rachel is exonerated now that Charlotte has confessed. Later, Rachel takes charge and stands up to Charlotte who spitefully reveals that it was she who sent the email to Niamh’s prospective employer, which caused Niamh and Paul to fight bitterly, some weeks back. Niamh apologises to Paul for giving him so much grief over the email.
Meanwhile when Bela gets unwelcome news, he puts pressure on Yvonne for a solution. As angry words are spoken, has she finally had enough of her family's constant problems? When Luke and Yvonne meet, sparks fly but not the good kind.
