There’s a messy start to the week in Home and Away when it comes to matters of the heart. First up, Xavier is livid when he discovers that April was cheating on him with Dex and when he bumps into them on the beach things get ugly.
Elsewhere despite the fact that Sid and Roo have started dating, Roo puts the brakes on their romance until Sid has spoken to his kids about them. He has just broken up with Marilyn and he doesn’t want anyone else to get hurt plus he also needs to come clean with Marilyn before she hears about their romance from someone else.
Just as Indi and Romeo move in together as husband and wife, things get even more complicated when Indi spots Sid and Roo on a date as she thinks that Sid's cheating on Marilyn so she confronts them.
When Indi does bump into Marilyn, it’s clear that Sid still hasn’t come clean. Indi convinces him to ‘fess up and when he does, Marilyn cannot hide her pain. Things get worse later in the week when she learns that Roo and Sid are moving in together.
Marilyn isn’t the only one smarting from the end of a relationship but things start to look up for Xavier when he bumps into Summer and she convinces him to skip work and borrow the business scooter to go to a beach party together.
However their escape ends in disaster, they crash and the accident lands Summer in hospital. John tackles Xavier over his irresponsible behaviour and Xavier reacts by telling him that he’s not his dad however it’s John who stands up for him when Summer’s dad attacks him and again when Brax fires him and orders him to pay for the scooter. Just when it seems that things couldn’t get any worse for Xavier, as the week progresses things start looking up when a new girl enters his life.
This is the final week of Home and Away before the summer break and the soap will return in the autumn.
