The trial is upon us and it seems each new witness’ testimony brings further doubt into Aaron’s mind
Aaron’s trial begins and the whole community are on tenterhooks. Chas' worries about Hazel are justified as she is tripped up by the prosecution and implicates Aaron. The following day Jerry speculates on the stand and the judge orders the jury to strike his comments from the record.
Then, both Adam and Paddy accidently damage Aaron’s chances. The verdict is announced at the end of the week and Aaron is shell-shocked at the decision.
As Declan finishes with Katie, Mia tells him she will try to convince Ella not to go back to Singapore. Ella has other things on her mind, smug that she has the upper hand but suddenly, unhappy with the way Katie is being treated, Declan issues Ella an ultimatum threatening to tell Mia about her and Adam.
Jared, true to his word, resurfaces looking for more revenge against Amy. She gives into his demands for more money but without a penny she is forced to break a window in the barn and steal Val’s jewellery. She is weighed down with guilt when the family realise they have been burgled, but Pollard has an inkling that something suspicious is going on.
Andy and Alicia arrive back from Spain and Leyla is worried about their plans for Jacob while Sam is worried he is a terrible dad to Samson.
