It’s judgement time for Ronnie who spends the last days before the trial feeling anxious and defeated. She feels alone but Jack is there to reassure her that he loves her no matter what.
An angry Michael sets a trap for Ronnie. When he sends a text to her from Roxy’s phone, she arrives at the park to see Tommy in his pram, alone and crying. Kat and Alfie find her with the baby and after she gives him back, Kat slaps her and tells her she will be laughing while Ronnie rots in jail.
Roxy refuses to believe the truth about Michael and wants nothing to do with Ronnie. When the time comes for Ronnie to take the stand she tells Jack she needs to go down for what she has caused and that his dream of running away together is only a fantasy. Will Ronnie go to prison? How will Kat and Alfie react? Will Roxy be there in Ronnie’s time of need?
Meanwhile, Tanya and Max continue their fling but Max wants more and gives Tanya a key for easy access. Once again, they almost get caught. When Lauren startles her and sees she has the key she erupts and threatens Max, demanding he never see her again. They agree to stop their fling but while Vanessa is out they somehow end up in each others' arms once more.
Lydia’s funeral brings up even more grief for Janine who hits rock bottom before receiving an unlikely piece of news that she is the sole beneficiary of Lydia’s estate. Jay and Abi break up after getting in trouble for breaking into the Vic and drinking.
