Marilyn is still not coping in the wake of losing baby George and feels the need to make peace with Nicole. She asks Miles for Nicole’s forwarding address so she can make contact, but he refuses to give it to her. However, in a surprise turn of events, Marilyn receives a call from Nicole when she least expects it.
Elsewhere, Elijah and Laura make some big decisions but they soon realise that they are both on the same page and they feel life is looking up for them both.
Colleen continues to spread rumours about Elijah and Laura’s unsavoury relationship, but when she is struck by lightening, we’re left to wonder if it was a freak accident or God’s will.
Across town Xavier, April, Ruby, Casey, Dex and Kate have planned a camping trip for the weekend. Roo overhears they are planning on surfing at a notoriously dangerous reef so she makes Ruby promise not to go in.
It doesn't take long until a troublesome situation arises and Xavier is rushed to hospital. Dex uses the situations as an opportunity to tell April how he feels, but she cuts him off, anticipating what he is about to say. Dex is shattered again.
